“Huey” a 2019 AQHA/APHA/NRHA gelding by the great Smokin Custom Crome (LTE 58k+). This sire was a product of two other greats: Custom Crome (PE: $4 Million+) and Colonels Smoking Gun, aka Gunner!
His dam, Nu Chex Chic, is by the great Nu Chex To Cash (NRHA $2 Million+ sire) who was crossed on a daughter of Smart Chic Olena (NRHA $10 Million+ Sire)
Long story short, he is bred out of this world, and has the looks they breed for in that bloodline: 4 white wheels, a big bald face, and a blue eye! Not only does he look the part, but he rides it as well.
He rides inside and outside of the arena. We can ride him both with a bridle, and bridleless. He naturally wants to be a huge stopper, and has the basics down for all of the maneuvers. He even has checked all of our boxes for desensitization. Huey rides just as good outside of the arena as he does inside of it. We push our longhorns around on him, and have taken him out in the woods and walked him in the hayfield.
This guy is the definition of in your pocket friendly. He has a carefree personality that is just happy to have the attention, doing whatever that may be. His head will be sticking outside of his stall window every time you walk down his isle.
This guy is bred well enough with all of the buttons to make it into the ranch versatility or rail classes. You could him in the box and try him with the ropes, use him around the ranch, or just enjoy him down the trail.
We had intentions of holding this guy back for one of our specialty sales, but our demand is too high, and we are almost cleared out. We will send this guy off with a clean vet report of soundness, at our cost!
