Tinseltown King is by 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙚 out of a 𝙒𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙮𝙨 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙣 daughter. At 5 years old, this guy acts three times his age in regards to maturity and safety. He is every bit of 15 hands and has to weigh in over 1200 lbs. When I say he is an easy keeper for a show horse – I mean barefoot, live outside all winter, put him on a round bale, and simply maintain him at home.

This guy is a 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎𝙃𝙀𝘿 𝙍𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙃 𝙍𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙍 with a history in the show pen. He was started in the reining as a 2 year old, and after not having the talent to be an open horse, they brought him right into the ranch riding. He does all the maneuvers, has big swooping turns, and a great stop. He can do the maneuvers with a bridle, without a bridle, inside, outside, or all over. However, the strength in this guy came from the ranch riding. He has been shown in the ranch trail, rail, and ranch riding with his previous owner before I bought him and shipped him to us across the country.

Outside of the arena, we have trail ridden him here. He crosses water, logs, and rides out in the cow pastures. He is extremely personable. His worst vice? Probably that we let him paw when you walk away from him – simply when he didn’t think he got enough pets or a treat. He is a pet, and a show partner.

I can tell you, if you want to win in the ranch riding, but also learn slow with the reining, this guy will take care of just about anyone. If you want something FUN for the regional or local shows, this is the guy to get you where you want to be. Work with a trainer, and I bet you could do so much more. The ranch riding is getting HUGE, and I know he is only going to get better at it with someone who knows what it entails.

With a doctorate degree and more under my belt, I tell everyone I spent too much on my brain to ever ride something dumb anymore. If I own dumb, someone else can ride them. This is one *I* ride. Just like my last reiner that didn’t make it more than a day on the market, that carries weight yall can read through the lines about.
