“Archie” is a 2015 gelding that is the type of unicorn I get calls for, almost every day. He is sired by the great Smart Spook ($7 Million+ sire) out of a daughter of Custom Crome.

This guy is an NRHA earner himself from the non pro to the open. For the past few years, he has been used as a practice horse at home for the kids to learn on, and just makes everything absolutely easy. The kids showed him a ton at open shows, and were very successful with him. He was NOT an easy one for them to let go!

As of now, he is maintained at home while living the babysitting life – as the horse needed to pony with for fun, and trail ride with friends. We have been hauling him to clinics to teach my staff how to ride a reining horse, and this guy could not be more forgiving. He has been ridden out in the state park, crosses water, over logs, and out in the hayfield with riders as young as 6 years old.

This guy is SAFE and BROKE – I would trust absolutely anyone on his back. He is the first we pull out of the stall for a guest, or “non-horsie” family member in the barn to ride, and that quality alone makes him priceless. There is no buck, no rear, and no funny business. He is the same every single day, at home or with the trainer.

He could go back to the show pen, or simply live out his days as the most reliable horse on your farm to take on the trails.
