“Badger” is a 2013 APHA/NRHA gelding by a son of the NRHA earner/ROM holder “Shiners Superstar”, by Shiners Ace (Shining Spark) out of a foundation Leo Bar / Poco Bueno mare.

This guy is a 1 of 1, in more than a few ways. He is a coveted “Badger Face” – and as you may be able to tell from a quick google search, there really is only so many of those in the world. Markings like that, will get anybody look at you twice, and standing over 15.1 hands makes him even better.

This guy has been in professional care and training for his entire life. He has been trained and shown for the Ranch Riding, and has a win or two even on the rail. He does the reining maneuvers slow – and can turn around, and do some stops with his hind end.

This guy has many miles on trail. He has crossed watered, bridges, and been ridden through the iconic stockyards of Fort Worth. He rides out in our snow in a Minnesota winter, next to our longhorn cattle, and down our gravel roads. He has done ranch work, mountain trail riding, worked the flag, sorted cattle, with his previous owner, he even learned a few tricks, and he drives!​

This guy is truly a one stop shop. He has absolutely no buck, no rear, no kicking, no pulling back, and is the same horse every day you saddle him. By personality, he does love to bond with his riders, and would do stellar being the focus of one person.​

This guy has been vetted thoroughly, and goes UTD on just about everything! He is ready to find his forever, whether that be riding at home, or making his way back to a show pen. This guy is jack of all trades, and we can’t wait to see where that takes him!​
