“Frito” is an 11 year old AQHA Pitzer bred gelding that holds the whole package at the perfect size of 15 hands.

He is that horse that everyone can find a use for in their barn. He is a solid, SAFE FOR ANYONE trail horse that has done overnights. He has been used on the ranch to doctor calves. He is a FINISHED head horse that has been good for the 14 all the way down to the 9. He has switch ended to the heel side, has been tripped on, and has been entered in ranch rodeos.

Don’t sit there and think “I don’t want a hot head performance horse” – this is the true gem you can’t even gamble genetics to land the right mind for. He can run 30 steers and then walk out flat footed. He scores good and stands quiet in the box. He could be your spoiled family trail pet or the main mount on your rodeo trailer and be happy doing both. You can use him around the property during the days, let your kids take him to a playday on Wednesday, rope on him on the weekends.

This guy has spent the last few months helping work colts, and is ready to either go back to the rope pen or get spoiled by the perfect family. He was the horse my trainer’s 7 year old nephew learned to head on. He is an easy keeper and a nice foot. He does have a strictly cosmetic scar on his right shoulder that is only noticeable up close.
