Montanas Stylish Nic aka “Murphy” is a AQHA 2009 bay gelding. He has won almost 30k in the NRHA, being his sire, Mister Montana Nic (LTE $183k+) highest earning son. Murphy has 50 AQHA reining points and has been successful in the pen from his futurity year, all the way through 2023, with non pros and youth.

His resume doesn’t just stop at the reining pen. He has done some boxing, ranch riding, fencing, and helps check on the cattle at home. Over the past few years, he has been maintained at home while living the babysitting life – as the horse needed to pony with for fun, and trail ride with friends. He has been ridden out in the state park, crosses water, over logs, and out in the hayfield with riders as young as 6 years old.

This guy is SAFE and BROKE – I would trust absolutely anyone on his back. Murphy was originally owned by my very close friends. I observed first hand that he was always THE horse the kids would grab first, over the past 5 years, to just take off riding on. That quality alone makes him priceless. There is no buck, no rear, and no funny business. He is the same every single day, at home or with the trainer.

I did not think I would ever own a horse this nice in my career. He could go back to the show pen, or simply live out his days as the most reliable horse on your farm to take on the trails.
