She has been shown by youth, non-pro, and open riders, and she’s the same horse every trip to the pen. She’s got all the maneuvers—lead changes, spins, circles, stops—and does them willingly, without making you work harder than you need to. She has so much run, our little indoor doesn’t even do justice to show what she can do in her stops. This mare has been vital in our transition to learning how to better ride, and market these reining horses, which is a long term interest I have been working towards. She is so forgiving, and has done nothing but help everyone around here learn the ropes.

Outside the reining, she’s just plain enjoyable. I think she’d naturally find her way into the cowhorse, or even transition into the ranch events. This mare has the brain to step into just about any program, and she’s quiet enough that the whole family can enjoy her. We have trail ridden her here, and from the barn to the pasture, she’s been a sweetheart with a kind personality. She lives inside full time, and the kids are in her stall every day messing around with her. She’s easy to catch, good for the farrier and vet, hauls without an issue, and settles into new places like she’s been there her whole life.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝟭𝟰.𝟭 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀. If you want something SAFE for the kids to keep around at home – whether to practice, to keep showing, or step into the reining for the first time —this is the kind that makes it all possible. Let alone, breed her down the road and have a long term breeding asset.

On top of all that, she’s been fully vetted—𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘃𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘀. I’m open to any and all PPEs or vet consultations you’d like to throw at us.

To close out my 20s, my goal with these kind of horses is to transition the assets into more real estate. I listed another gelding with interest, but something has to move to take advantage of an opportunity that came my way.
