Boom Shernic is an NRBC Derby Champion and NRHA Derby Reserve Champion, and this gelding carries that same look, feel, and athleticism as his sire.

This gelding has NRHA earnings, wins, and multiple jackpot placings of his own, and has experience in both Ranch Riding and Reining. He is the kind that floats when he moves. He changes leads effortlessly, wants his face on the ground, and gives you a consistent, enjoyable ride every time you swing a leg over. He’s soft, feely, and rides with that powerful yet smooth style that makes him incredibly fun to sit on. He’s the kind that feels fancy without feeling complicated.

He has been trail ridden, worked cattle, and has all the practical, everyday skills you want in a broke horse. He’ll open gates, work the flag, and handle real-life ranch tasks with ease. He’s easy to catch, has excellent ground manners, and is the kind you can enjoy both in the arena and outside of it. He can sit and come back riding the same — a huge plus for a busy amateur program. He fits amateur, non-pro, and open riders alike, and is exactly the kind you can learn on while still being competitive.

He is forgiving, kind, and talented enough to step into the show pen at the local and regional level, or simply be enjoyed as a fun, broke gelding at home. Horses like this are hard to find — broke, proven, and versatile with the pedigree and ability to keep going.

He has been straightforward to care for in his current program and does not require a full-time training program to be enjoyable and competitive at the levels described above.
