2022 AQHA mare by Ima Pale Face Cash, a son of the great Pale Face Dunnit (LTE $70k+, NRHA $4 Million+ sire). Her dam is by Bobs Golden Acre, by Bob Acre Doc, who earned over $400,000 in the NCHA, and sired over $10 million in earners.
“Dolly” has to be the thickest made mare, I have ever owned in my life. She has a huge neck, with a hip and shoulder to match. She is curvier than a Kardashian and has the looks to match it. This mare came from, and was started by the people who bred and raised her. She has never had a rough hand on her, and is absolutely in your pocket to be around.
Under saddle, this mare has a trot that DESERVES to see the ranch riding pen. She absolutely floats and knows how to give to pressure, naturally wanting to ride around in a low headset. She is learning to balance herself and wants to stop deep and hard. She knows her leads, and has so much more athleticism than you’d think for the weight she carries. She rides off soft, picks up both leads with ease, and is light in your hand or on a loose rein. Her lope is a bit fast, but slowing down comes only with time.
We’ve ridden her outside in our cow pastures, and out back in our hay field. Whether you’re working in the arena or out on the trail, she stays honest and goes where you point her. She has some feel, the brain, and the handle to be pointed any direction – with the right buttons already built in. She’s been through the checklist: tarps, flags, yoga balls, swinging ropes – and at 3 years old she has handled them all with a level head. This mare’s papers are meant for the show pen. The look, the mind, and the foundation are all there to make it big in any direction – reining, ranch riding, versatility, cowhorse, or go ahead and start roping on her.
