“Curtis” is a 6 year old crossbred gelding. I actually have no idea what he is crossed with. When we took him, I was told he was a grade quarter horse, but the more we have him around – possibly Morgan and Quarter Horse? Let’s just go with a crossbred of some sort. Regardless, I think this guy is adorable, and is personality matches just that.
This guy is a same trip, every day kind of gelding. We have ridden him out on the trails around our property, by our longhorns, and down our dirt roads. He is a point and shoot type, and just goes with the flow
He is a blast to ride in the arena. He knows his leads, and will go around both ways. You can flap tarps around him, bounce the yoga ball, swing ropes over his head, and all that other “goofy” stuff people love to see, that likely serves no purpose at all.
If you want a friendly horse on the ground with a big personality, and a blast to ride, this will be your guy. He has saddled up the same for us every day we have owned. Somebody is going to love him and keep him as a lifer.
