“Paris” is a buckskin daughter of the infamous $12 million sire, Wimpys Little Step. Her dam is a producing daughter of Reminic, the NRHA and NCHA standout sire.
This mare is a finished reiner, and NRHA earner herself. She is NONPRO friendly, has been maintained completely at home, and if you’ve ever dreamed of learning to ride a reining horse, you only need a butt to do the maneuvers with her. She has a fantastic turn around, always will nail a lead change, and lopes around like butter.
I have owned thousands of horses now in my lifetime, and truly I never believed in that “wedding dress” feel on one. For whatever reason, this mare proved me wrong. I think she is the highlight of my stall barn, and everybody who knows me, has to know about her, and how lucky I am to call her mine. One of those “I never thought I’d get the chance to say I own a horse this nice,” type of mares.
Not only is this mare a show horse, but she is a BLAST to ride at home, down the trail, and around our ranch. We have been trail riding her all over – she has crossed water, over logs, gone through our hayfields, and even has pushed out our decorative cattle. I love my show horses, but one that can ride outside of the arena makes all the difference.

She is the most NONMARISH mare I’ve been around – to the point my vet completed a breeding exam only to say “You know she is in full blown heat today, right?” She has never made a peep or a tail swish here. She is an absolute sweetheart, in your pocket, and first at her stall door to be loved on.
Of course, the next question arose: so what’s wrong with her? Maintenance? Shoes? – after a full examination from my performance vet, the words to describe her X-rays were “outstanding”, her breeding exam passed with flying colors, and, above all else, she is BAREFOOT in all these videos. Right here, she is what we call in the industry, a unicorn.

This mare could go right back into the show pen for a weekend warrior, be enjoyed at home on the trail, only to be used down the road as the backbone of a breeding program. I could talk about this mare for hours, and I will always be happy too.
