“Stickey” is a 2018 AQHA gelding with a pedigree stacked with proven sprint speed and legit performance horse blood. His sire, Kool Wagon, is a son of the one and only PYC Paint Your Wagon (LTE $889,581), who’s by Corona Cartel, one of the top race sires in the world. On the bottom side, his dam is by OSU Power Slide, an AQHA Performance Champion and multiple Congress and World Show placer in heading, heeling, and tie-down roping.

This gelding is the right age to go on and do something. He’s broke, forward, and has been fun for us to bring along. He breaks at the poll, lopes both ways, moves off your leg, and has that “push-button” feel you want in a performance prospect. He’s got more “go” than “woah,” but stays rideable and smart with a motor that’s ready to be put to use. He is athletic, quick-footed, and moves with that ground-covering stride you’d expect out of a Corona Cartel-bred horse. Whether you want to pattern him on the barrels, head steers on him, or just ranch and ride, this gelding has all the ingredients.

He is extremely gentle and sweet to be around. He’s handled tarps, yoga balls, ropes, dogs, and our usual trail obstacles without missing a beat. We’ve taken him around the property, up and down the ditches, and he just keeps getting better with time. We bought him already riding, tuned him up, and now he’s ready for someone who wants to go on and make something out of him. He’s never had his legs run off, and still has his whole career ahead of him.
