2020 AQHA buckskin gelding standing 14.3 hands, sired by 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙚𝙡—an NRHA money earner with AQHA points in reining—and out of Set a Pace to Shine by 𝙂𝙚𝙚 𝙒𝙝𝙞𝙯 𝙄𝙩 𝙎𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, also an NRHA earner and AQHA point producer. I have owned multiple siblings to this gelding, and many more out of this breeding program, and I can tell you I have been impressed with every single one. He’s bred to have talent, try, and the mind to go any direction.

This guy spent 14 months in professional training with Kreistal Anderson, from December 2023 through February 2025. He spins and slides with ease. He knows his leads and packs his head in place. He’s soft in the face, has a good stop, and rides around gentle and relaxed every time. He was started right, brought along slow, and stays soft and willing under saddle. But let me be honest here, this guy is 𝙉𝙊𝙏 an open horse—he’s quiet, smooth, and the type anyone can get along with, but he would much rather eat muffins and get groomed for 10 hours than be a show horse.

“Terry” is a true puppy-dog kind of gelding—loves people, loves attention, and has an easygoing nature that makes him a barn favorite. He had the same owner for the last 5 years of his life. The breeder, one owner, and now us. That is his history. He’s steady-minded, easy to ride, and has seen plenty of commotion without batting an eye. While he’s got the reining foundation, he’s built and minded for versatility—he’d excel in ranch riding, roping, or just being that dependable all-around horse everyone enjoys.

He’s been desensitized to about everything you can think of — ropes, flags, tarps, dogs, tractors, and traffic — and takes it all in stride with that same quiet, steady attitude. Out on the trail, he’s sure-footed, confident, and happy to go wherever you point him. He loves to trail ride. He’ll ride out alone or in a group, crosses water, logs, and rough terrain without a fuss, and stays relaxed in new places.
